I do not yet know if I will bother moving from Twitter to Mastodon (or other alternatives other than my own project, "self"). 

I am skeptical of social networks in general. For me, the meaning of "social network" is building together in community. Currently (in capitalism) it is more passive consumption of each other's activities. 

I am open to changing my mind, of course. But for now, I hope that any connections I have built on Twitter will stand this test :) and we can continue to engage through other mediums, whatever those are.
